SCHOLARSHIPS

Our scholarships help students achieve their educational goals.
Last year, Diablo Valley Giving Partners awarded $267,500 to 69 young adults. We have awarded close to $3 MILLION to local students since inception.
Our scholarship program considers financial need, school and community activities, and academic achievement. Applicants must be residents of Contra Costa County. Recipients may not be members of Diablo Valley Giving Partners, including Volunteens, or a member’s relative.
We award scholarships to:
Graduating high school seniors applying to a four-year college/university or a career technical educational program.
Community college students transferring with junior-level status to four-year colleges/universities.
Students participating in Contra Costa County’s Foster and Kinship Youth programs applying to four-year colleges/universities, community colleges, or vocational training programs.
Adults returning to school after a gap in their education.

The applications for our six scholarships are below. Each application has specific criteria, guidelines, and procedures. We encourage you to apply for more than one scholarship if you meet the qualifications. Applicants can receive only one scholarship regardless of the number of applications submitted.
