MORE WAYS TO GIVE
There are many ways to give to our organization. These gifts can include: stocks, securities, IRA/qualified charitable distributions, vehicles, real estate, life insurance policies, charitable gift annuities, and more.
Please email treasurer@dvgivingpartners.org to start a stock gift transfer via your broker.
Kindly provide the type of stock and how many shares, or size of gift, to treasurer@dvgivingpartners.org.
Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) is the minimum amount of money the IRS requires you to withdraw annually from tax-deferred retirement accounts, such as traditional IRAS, 401(k)s, 403(b)s, and SEP IRAs, starting at age 73. When you give all or a portion of your RMD to a charitable organization, it is called a “Qualified Charitable Distribution” (QCD). For many people, RMDs are an excellent and convenient way to earn tax benefits by contributing to your charity of choice. Confer with your tax professional for more details.

Recommend a grant be made from your DAF to Diablo Valley Giving Partners, EIN 94-1730025. DAFs are an excellent way to both simplify your charitable giving and facilitate your strategic philanthropic goals. A bequest is one of the easiest gifts to make. With the help of an attorney, you can include language in your will or trust specifying a gift to be made to Diablo Valley Giving Partners as part of your estate plan, or you can make a bequest using a beneficiary designation form. Do you no longer need a vehicle and would like to donate the proceeds to Diablo Valley Giving Partners? We have partnered with Charitable Adult Rides & Services, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, that provides transportation solutions for seniors. Many companies encourage their employees to donate to local charities in the communities where they live and work, and in turn, the employer will offer matching dollars for your gifts. Inquire with your Human Resources department about your program.
